Why study BSc (Hons) Games Design at BU?:
Specialise exclusively in the art and design aspects of video game creation - explore everything from the theory behind the creation of successful digital entertainment titles to the generation of dedicated art and content for them.
For September 2024 and September 2025 entry: We have a Foundation Year option for students who do not meet the entry requirements for the degree course. This additional year of study will give you a grounding in the creative skills required for this course, building your confidence, knowledge and skills for further study. After successful completion of the Foundation Year, you will progress to the full degree.

For September 2024 and September 2025 entry: The entry requirements for this course are 104 - 120 UCAS tariff points including a minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent. BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM. We will consider all subjects but not accept General Studies.
Foundation Year requirements: 48 - 72 UCAS tariff points

For September 2024 and September 2025 entry: If English is not your first language, you will need IELTS (Academic) 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each of the 4 components, or equiavlent.
