NZMA was established in 1985 and is 100% New Zealand-owned. We are proud to be one of the very few category-1 ranked private providers in New Zealand, and one of the only providers approved by NZQA (New Zealand Qualifications Authority) and INZ (Immigration New Zealand) to offer paid internships.

Specialising in hospitality, cookery and business training, NZMA is home to up to 2000 students each year across its four academies in Central Auckland, South Auckland, Panmure and Waikato. Regarded by employers as one of New Zealand’s leading hospitality schools, NZMA is an excellent place to study for those who are serious about forging successful international careers.

For those with their sights set on further study after graduating, NZMA has a host of guaranteed pathways to universities in New Zealand.

NZMA also places a strong focus on employment as we know that every student is ultimately looking for a great job. We have our own dedicated employment service, NZMA Employment, who will help you find meaningful, relevant employment both during and after your studies.
