English and literacy teachers in primary, secondary, further and higher education, advisory teachers and anyone interested in the teaching of English as a first language and teaching literature, drama and media worldwide.
Entry requirementsA good first degree in English or a related area.
Knowledge and experience of teaching English as a curriculum subject to groups of young students is essential.
Core topicsBy coursework assignments of up to 5,000 words and an 18,000- to 20,000-word dissertation or 10,000-word report.
AttendanceMixed mode, including face-to-face afternoon or evening sessions and some aspects of online learning.
