About Clinical Nutrition, MSc, PG Dip - at University of Nottingham

This applied nutrition masters is ideal for health and social care professionals. It is designed for graduates in human or clinical nutrition, and related health profession degrees.

It allows you to study whilst working as part of your continuing professional development needs. You can study modules over one to six years to complete the diploma or full masters degree.

The course is taught by a dynamic teaching team, many of the staff are registered dietitians. You'll improve your evidence-based practitioner competence and management skills.

Modules

  • Modules cover key topics in nutrition. You'll study gastroenterology, diabetes, weight management, public health and nutrition support.
  • If you are studying for the masters programme, you'll learn research skills in preparation for your project. The project involves the application of investigative, critical and analytical skills, and the presentation of a report. 

Entry requirements

2:1 (or international equivalent)

IELTS: 6.5 (with no less than 6.0 in any element).
