About Social Research Methods with Applied Statistics, MSc - at University of Southampton

Are you passionate about investigating social issues and finding evidence through statistics? If so this programme will train you in applied statistical methods and expose you to the cutting edge of statistical practice, thus equipping you with the necessary grounding both to understand and to contribute to the area. You will also learn how to conduct qualitative research. The Masters in Social Research Methods with Applied Statistics is excellent preparation for a career in social research in government, national and international organizations or in the private sector. We welcome students with limited background in quantitative methods. You can tailor the course to your interests by choosing from a wide range of optional modules, covering areas such as demography, global health, gerontology and qualitative and mixed research methods.
