About Education, MEd - at University of Windsor

This course-based program will enable you to examine philosophical orientations, conceptual frameworks, and research methodologies relevant to the study of Canadian Education.

The program objectives will be accomplished through the completion of nine courses, followed by the capstone course, the Final Project Seminar including an internship at a local school board or the Ministry of Education. A great way to experience the Canadian educational system first hand.

You will study and live in Canada for 16 consecutive months. This program includes 10 prescribed courses completed over 4 terms.

Notes about fees for this course

Fees are an estimation and are based on tuition for sixteen (16) months or four (4) academic terms. Does not include Incidental Fees ($2,000*), Textbooks ($2,000*), Living Expenses and Meals ($12,000*).

Entry requirements

Confirmation of successful completion of a Bachelor of Education (or equivalent) from an academic institution approved the University of Windsor. Applicants with a four year honours degree in related fields may be considered.

Evidence of having obtained a cumulative grade point average of 70% and at least a 70% average in the last two years of your academic studies (when converted to Ontario standards)

Demonstrated English proficiency by meeting or exceeding a 7.0 score in the IELTS test or a TOEFL score of 100 (ibt)

A successful interview with a representative from the University of Windsor.

Three supportive letters of reference (at least one from an academic source)
